Summary
Currently you can only create a single field context for each project:
- If you create a context for Project A and issue type A, the field will stop working for other issue types inside Project A
- If you try to create a new context inside the same field, you cannot select Project A anymore because there can be only one context with a project
You either apply a context for all issue types inside a project or for specific ones.
That is troublesome if you are on a scenario where you need to have some kind of template for a text field. If you need to have pre-defined values for different issue types inside the same project (which you can for example copy to the description field) you would need to create multiple text fields for that purpose.
Suggestion
Provide the ability to have more than one context for a single project. That way users could create different contexts for specific issue types inside the same project.
