      Problem definition:

Popup notifications in Jira do not go away on their own.

      Suggested Solution:

Popup notifications should go away on their own without the need to press the X in the notification box.

      Why is this important:

Adds an unnecessary step for the customer to close a notification.

      Workaround:

Manually close the notification by pressing X in the notification box.

Still not fixed? We need this.

I am suggesting for a setting that can be configured by a user if they want to have the toast notification shown or not, how many seconds until the toast notification disappears automatically, etc.

It seemed like the problem was solved and the pop-ups disappeared by themselves for a while. Now the function has disappeared again and the very annoying pop-ups stay on the site and are in the way. I already tried switching back to the old issue transition experience as mentioned in another ticket but that did not help.

Please either have the pop-ups disappear again on their own or add a possibility to opt out on them altogether!

Is it me, or did they finally listen?

            It's just so very annoying.

Incredibly annoying when the popups block drop down menus on their own page. Sometimes I have to close 8-10 of them before my screen is fully usable again. Please make these go away!

Exactly. Unless some middle management type decided this will not be a reason for people to stop paying all that money. But not reacting to such a dumb bug just might be...

I don't know how this doesn't annoy the shit out of Atlassian PMs to the point of fixing it unless of course they aren't even using their own software

Why do we have to vote for something that is obviously a bug. Do you use your own software?

Well, well, well. Just when I thought Atlassian couldn't get any worse at UI and UX design, they go and outdo themselves with this catastrophe.
Now we just have to wait 10 years and 500 votes until it gets assigned to an inactive user.
