- Create a user group including some special characters and with a long name, like "This is the long group name in Jira Cloud that does not work with the Subscription" (>60 characters)
- Add users to the group
- Go back to Jira and click the magnifier icon at the left of the screen and click Filters
- Next to the filter's name, click more(...) > Manage subscriptions
- Click the button Add subscription
- In Recipients, select the group This is the long group name in Jira Cloud that does not work with the Subscription
- Click Subscribe
Expected Results
The screen shows the group subscribed to the filter
Actual Results
A 500 error is displayed
Workaround
Since groups cannot be renamed, create a new group with a shorter name, add the users of the problematic group to this new group and use this group for the filter subscription
