Summary

Currently, the new issue view doesn't indicate which fields are required (e.g., using a red asterisk like * or having (Required)). It will not highlight all required fields if you try to leave a required field empty either (like the create screen does). It will only show a warning for the one field you are editing.

It would be nice if something like this was added to the new issue view so that users can easily see when a field is required so that they can populate the field with data before trying to proceed with the ticket.

Suggestion

Have required fields show an asterisk or any other indicator in the issue view, like the create screen does:

• Create screen
  
• Currently the issue view does not show anything
  
  • Only after you try to edit a required field is when you see a warning
    

Also have it highlight all required fields when you try to leave a required field empty during edition, not the one field you are editing only.
