Description
Hi everyone — since the introduction of Roadmaps across all Jira Software project types, the Epic Color field has become a critical field that key Jira features rely on. For this reason, we have made the decision to always show the Epic Color field on the new issue view and to close this ticket as "won't fix". As always, we welcome your feedback on this decision.

It was implemented recently the possibility to change the Epic color via issue view, as described in the screenshot attached:
As a Jira Software user, I want to control the visibility of this field, being able to hide it as it can be done to other fields (using screens or issue layout)
