Summary

Currently, when creating an issue, the issue description editor is using the old Jira syntax, rather than the new Markdown syntax used everywhere else.

For example, one has to use the { code } tag to put code in, rather than the 3 backticks ```

Solution

Allow users to configure the screen to have which type of editor or implement the editor directly.

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
