This is the feature request (suggest in the community post) to add markdown support for info / warning / error ... panels.

We want to be able to write our templates, etc. in a text file. Fill them out and then copy them into Jira and for it to format/render, etc. without requiring additional clicks into the WYSIWYG editor add additional formatting.

Currently, you can only use the WYSIWYG editor, not markdown.
