Summary

The description field in the new JIRA issue field fails to load when there are too many URLs in it. The symptoms are very similar to https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-8940 where the description shows in the old JIRA issue view but not in the new JIRA issue view.

The only difference is that the description is not over 32k characters. This also happens to comments; not only the description field.

Steps to Replicate

Copy paste the long text in the private comments to the description field. Make sure it is the new JIRA issue view description field.

Expected Result

The text is succesfully added to the new JIRA issue view description field.

Current Result

Error is returned.

Workaround

Turn off Atlassian Labs from https://<domain-name>.atlassian.net/secure/ViewPersonalSettings.jspa . This workaround will NOT work with next-gen which is new JIRA issue view by default.
