It isn't possible to clear a Date Time Picker custom field at the new UI.

Issue Summary

It isn't possible to clear a Date Time Picker custom field at the new UI.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Date Time Picker custom field
2. Add the custom field to an issue view screen
3. Add a value
4. Try to remove the value using delete/backspace

Expected Results

Actual Results

Workaround

Option 1:
Use the Old issue view to remove the value.

Option 2:

1. Click on Date/Time field to edit it
2. Use the keyboard key: "Backspace" or "Delete", to delete the value
   • You will see the date value turns into light grey with "e.g. 2018/12/21"
     
3. Click on the other area of the issue to save the field
   • If you click "Enter" the date value will be updated to today's date
