Using bulk operations to move parent tasks (with sub-tasks) from next gen to classic project returns error

XMLWordPrintable

      Summary

This is very similar to JRACLOUD-71354 . The only difference is that this bug happens when you attempt to move all issues in the project via bulk operations (instead of moving one issue at a time manually) from the issue navigator.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create an epic with multiple child tickets.
      2. Navigate to issue navigator.
      3. Attempt to use bulk operations to move issues.
      4. Error is returned.

      Expected Results

The issue is moved together with its sub-tasks

      Actual Results

      An error message is thrown:

At least one of the issues you are trying to move has been recently updated by another user (NG-7). Please cancel and start again.

      Workaround

One workaround would be to create a task in the destination project and move only the sub-tasks. However, this is not practical for situations when the user needs to move multiple tasks together with their sub-tasks
