    • Severity 3 - Minor

      Summary

      If the name of the project contains special characters, Jira will place this same characters in URLs, which might cause malfunctions.

      In a specific example, if the project's name contains the # symbol, none of the reports will open (see the video below).

      Steps to Reproduce

      • Insert the # symbol in a project's name;
      • Navigate to the "report" section and try to open any report.

      Expected Results

      • The report's configuration opens so that the admin can input the relevant parameters.

      Actual Results

      • An error ("No report was specified. The 'ReportKey' parameter was empty") flashes and then the page goes blank.

      Workaround(s)

      • Either remove the special character from the project's name or remove the special character from the URL
