Summary

It's not possible to perform a basic search using the field "Security level". You can use a JQL search but the field is referred to as "level" which causes confusion. Example working query:

1. Go to Jira search
2. Try to perform a basic search using the field "security level"

Expected behaviour

The "Security level" field should be searchable in basic search. In JQL it should be referred to as "Security level".

Actual results

It's not possible to perform a basic search using the field "Security level". You can use a JQL search but the field is referred to as "level" which causes confusion.

Workaround

The Security Level can be searched using Advanced JQL Search only (is not available for basic Search), the Field is labeled as "level":
