- Community Context: The Backup Manager API deprecation - is there going to be a replacement? as the legacy "Backup Manager" UI is removed from sites, effectively killing the underlying private endpoints.
- Official Notice: Atlassian typically lists these in the Jira Cloud Platform changelog. The removal of internal endpoints like /rest/backup/1/... did not get a "standard" 6-month deprecation notice because they were never officially supported for public use, however the transition to the new Backup & Restore system was announced via the Cloud Roadmap
