Problem Definition

In the View Issue screen, a multi-line custom field with a lot of text will not be utilizing the space available. Instead, it gets cut off and the space is left unused.

As can be seen from the screenshot, the space to the right of the field is unused.

Suggested Solution

Extend the width that is available for the field. Currently, it is set to have a max-width of 400px.
This was not the case with the old Jira UI, where it was using all the space that is available.

Why this is important

Having a lot of text in a multi-line custom field would become very hard to read.
