Summary

If a user places a custom field on a screen and has edit rights on that issue, the custom field will no use all the available space on the screen

Steps to Reproduce

Create a custom field and add it to a screen.
Create issue with custom field, enter a long line of text that will use up the full length of available text space.
Open the issue

Expected Results

Custom text field should use all the available space on screen from left to right

Actual Results

Text is displayed in box that is only 400px wide

If the user is not in a group that has edit rights, the screen will use all the whitespace. The screenshots make it clear
