      Problem Statement

      At the moment, even though JIRA issues are viewable by the public (browse project permission is granted to Group (Anyone)), Confluence-only users are not able to view those issues when logging in to Confluence. It is possible to view the public JIRA issues when the Confluence users log out from Confluence.

      It is not possible to view the issues as well even though the Browse Project permission is granted to confluence-users group since JIRA will be checking for application access and permission to view it.

      Suggested Solution

      Provide the ability for Confluence-users group to view JIRA issues without checking for the application access when the Browse Project permission is granted to it.
