Description
Summary
When importing JIRA Cloud, if the password policy is set to strong, the import fails with the error
Environment
JIRA Cloud
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a JIRA Cloud backup
- verify that Password Policy is set to strong
- Import JIRA backup
Expected Results:
JIRA data is imported correctly
Actual Results:
- Import fails. Logs show:
Unexpected error while restoring data: com.atlassian.studio.jira.importer.impl.user.CrowdRestException: The credentials should not be encrypted for the unique password check
- User management gets blocked

Contact Cloud Support at support.atlassian.com
Support will
- restart JIRA
- Set the Password Policy to Strength: Weak, Expiry: Never, Prevent Reuse: Never
