Description
Summary
Issue collector can't be created due to certain field without any error thrown to provide explanation unless user change the issue type. Once the user change issue type, similar error like below will be thrown:
*Error* You cannot create an issue collector for this project, because the following fields are required on the project and those field types cannot be displayed to anonymous users. If the field is changed to be optional or a default value is provided, then an issue collector can be created for the project. Not allowed fields: Assignee
Prior to that, clicking on Submit won't do anything.
Steps to reproduce
- Have a JIRA instance with Allow unassigned issues turned off to create a condition where Assignee is required.
- Create a project.
- Try to create an issue collector for the project using normal admin user - not sysadmin.
- Change issue type to view have the error.
Expected Result
The error should be thrown after clicking Submit or even earlier.
Current Result
The error is not visible no matter how many times the user clicks to submit - only visible once issue type is changed.
Note: This doesn't seem to affect user with system administrators access. In Cloud, that would be sysadmin.
