Group notifications on JIRA notification's scheme

Problem

At the moment, while using JIRA and executing a series of transitions at a time, our mail boxes are spammed by mail notifications.

An example:

{format}Someone created a ticket for me.
The ticket was then assigned to me.
The description was modified four times in the same minute.
So I received five e-mails in a span of five minutes to tell me I had to work on one ticket.{format}

Solution

If e-mails were delayed by 5 minutes and then regrouped. I would have to receive only one e-mail. We still want to receive all notifications, although grouped.

Workaround

Disable notifications for the specific event on the notification scheme or change the generic event that will be fired on the workflow.
