      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      As noted by some previous user suggestions, JIRA dialogs:

      • Often make poor use of larger displays - restricting users to small entry fields and leaving much screen space unused (JRA-34660, JRA-40481)
      • Are not resizable or movable (JRA-37125)
      • Do not provide any means for admins to customize their size/layout.

      I think your users in general would be happy to see all dialogs increased in size (width), but being able to resize (or maximize) a dialog to all/most of the screen would be great!

      Some particular ones that we think are too narrow:

      • Create/Edit issue screen.
      • Edit comment screen narrower than create issue screen (why?)
      • Link issue screen (given it includes a comment box)
