Our users think that too much screen real estate is wasted during creation of issues

The "Create Issue" dialog has very small and narrow text box for the actual issue description. In many cases it is really hard to write a lengthy bug request due the limited text size (see attachment).
It would be very helpful to increase the width of this "Create" layer from currently 800 pixel to 1000 and for the "Description" field from 500 to 700.
Also it would be helpful to increase (double) the text field height from 200 pixel to 400.
If this are relative values, so it would be helpful to increase the appropriate relative values instead (I'm not insisting on absolute pixel count).
