Description
NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding bug report.
Summary
Not able to view and delete any screens because a deleted screen is still associated with a workflow transition.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a screen;
- Create a new workflow that uses that screen on a transition;
- Delete the screen in Jira;
Note: The system does not provide a link to delete screens, unless the screen has no associated workflows or screen schemes. This could be bypassed by manipulating the URL on the delete screen page. The validation on the screen deletion page is also not blocking screen deletion. Some of the tickets raised have mentioned failed imports, we have not confirmed this as the source of the screen deletion.
Expected Results
The screen deletion page should show an error message and prevent screen deletion.
The screens page still shows a list of all existing screens despite the existence of a missing screen in a workflow.
Actual Results
The screen deletion page allows the screen to be removed.
The screens page shows a blank list of screens.
