Issues dropdown doesn't show my most recently created issues

I rely on the issues drop down to show me my most recently created issues (details: JRA-44603). However, it's recently come to my attention that when I raise feedback using the JIRA Feedback Collector, the issues that are created in this way do now show up in the issues dropdown at least some of the time.

Validate by providing feedback on EAC then coming to JAC to check the dropdown.

Because of this I have to navigate to my profile and look through my activity feed. This is (surprise!) slow.
