Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
Because JIRA is "makes you want to kill a family of kodiak bears as a sacrifice to the gods of time in exchange for a longer life" slow, I often go get coffee or dinner or take a holiday to Tahiti after hitting the submit button on the create dialog. In this way, I will make good use of my precious time here on the earth.
Unfortunately for me, JIRA in it's infinite chicanery, is prepared with yet another deception. You see, the green message that appears after an issue has been created is an "auto-dismiss" message. If at some point between my coffee and last mai-tai, JIRA finishes creating the issue (unlikely as that may be) and I am unable to return before ~10 second elapses, I will not be informed of my successful wile.
In the great name of the power of software, please make the message stay on the screen. This will serve to make JIRA slightly less puckish.
