As a user I would like to have the same UI for "limited user picker" custom field as System Assignee field.

      As part of this issue, the "limited user picker" custom field was created but it has a very different user interface than the system Assignee field.

      The users want to have the look and feel of the standard Assignee field. A drop down combobox, where they simply can choose the user via mouse.

            After some analysis, we've found that this ticket is a duplicate of the request ID-8128 – Limit User Picker to members of certain groups/roles in System Fields in Jira Software and Jira Work Management and JIRA Service Management which has more votes.
