      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      As of JRA-3758 it is possible to show the "Link Issue" field on any screen.
      As duplicates are a core concept, it should be possible to support users even a little more on Resolve screens.

      • If Resolution "Duplicate" is selected, display a single field where the duplicate issue number can be entered - without having to choose the link type first.
      • If any other Resolution is selected, no field for entering the duplicate issue number is necessary.
