NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.
In a JIRA User's details page, it would be beneficial to show which user in JIRA created the user. This should probably only be visible to users that are in the jira-administrators gorup.
The usefulness of this feature is that it creates accountability. If there is a problem with the creation of a user's account (e.g. associated with the wrong authentication directory), the person who created the account can be notified of the error and (re)trained how to create new user accounts correctly.

Thanks so much for the feature request.
This would definitely be a part of the audit trail "Epic" in JIRA. Resolving it as a duplicate of the Audit trail issue so we can track comments under one feature.
Cheers,
