Error Translating Issue Status with more than 255 characters of description

      NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding bug report.

      I have tested JIRA version 4.4.3, 4.4.5 and 5.0.5 and found that JIRA throws an error while translating status with if description string exceeds 255 characters.

      Step to reproduce:

      1. Log in as a user with the JIRA Administrators global permission.
      2. Go to Administration>Statuses
      3. Add a new status and make it's description more than 255 character
      4. Click "Translate"
      5. Copy Status name and description set and paste to the relevant Name and Description text field
      6. Select any Language from "View Language Translations", click Update
      7. JIRA will throw an error as the attached 'Error translating status.png'
