      When updating the required fields during the Issue Type Migration, the reporter field displays an error message that is unrelated (see screnshot). The error message says Reporter is required, but actually the reporter that is being retained does not have the create issue permission. This will mislead JIRA users.

      Improvement Suggestion:

      • A meaningful error message, such as The reporter does not have permission to create issue.
