Versions needs start/end fields or should allow custom fields

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      We would like a start/end date field on versions, and were trying to investigate if we could add these through custom fields, but it seems that custom fields are only for issues. If you could extend custom fields to versions or add start/end dates that would be very useful.
