I think it is the conceptual bug of JIRA GUI

[JRACLOUD-11405] Allow to change the fonts and their size

            PLEASE

Is there already a timetable for when the font size change will be implemented?

I am surprised, is this not possible via the OS somehow?  Certainly on desktops, if there is an accessibility issue, it's usually handled system-wide as usually it applies to all apps for the particular reader.  Unless Jira is somehow not respecting that or Jira is choosing to provision smaller fonts than everything else.  Usually being noticeable on a certain type of screen is again just OS related whereby that screen type hasn't been set up in the OS properly.  I'd be looking at these angles first, it may be that it's happening because Jira is not integrated into the system accessibility properly or something, rather than just pushing font adjustments through it could be worth a look.

Really need to increase the font size - very difficult to read - seems like a basic accessibility issue.

This would be very useful on the JSM Portal side of things. Backend is one thing, but having customers squinting and complaining of font size is another, more important, use case to us.

The odd smaller/bigger font is VERY noticeable in all our screens, even for custom fields. And it seems random, not like there is an age or it's custom vs system fields. It doesn't matter if it's added to a screen through the admin methods or in the project using the project settings pages. It oddly makes some fields look more important, which they are not.

We would like this feature as well.

For those of you who want the text to be larger, one option is to set the "Minimum font size" in your browser. Firefox, Chrome and Edge all support this, and possibly others. Unfortunately it is a global setting, not per-website, but it's better than nothing.

I have a 27" screen and the font is too big on Safari.  I cannot resize with the normal CTRL -/+ it just keeps the font the same size and mucks up the display.  Some method of making font size a little smaller - similar to how this forum is working actually would be greatly appreciated.

Note this seems to affect Firefox more than Chrome.
