      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Sometimes, users will accidentally delete issues or custom fields, and the steps to restore those issues or custom fields usually involves restoring backups, which would take quite a lot of time and effort.

      As such, it would be great if JIRA had some sort of Recycle Bin or Trash (like in Confluence) so that users would be able to restore any accidentally deleted issues easily.
