            @ Wilfried Mayer
I just downloaded the Plugin. It appears as a gadget in my list of gadgets, but when I place it on the dashboard it shows as an empty white box with no edit options. My JIRA version is 5.1.3.

@Gowtham: Version 4.4 with JIRA 4.4.4 is working for me. Which gadget do you use? Try the 'Column Order' gadget.

The 'Column Order Gadget Plugin' 4.4 is not working for me. My version is 4.4.3. I even restarted my Jira to see if I could see the new options in my 'Filter Results' gadgets, but not luck.

Do I need to install any other plugin as a prerequisite? Please help me.

I also agree with the last comment, we actually tested that before looking into the feature enhancement request because it seems to make the most sense.

I would add my agreement with the last comment. Setting the columns the first time, I thought that I was actually doing that with the filter settings and was surprised it was broken.

Why not make it so the "Filter Results" gadget can mirror the columns specified by the Filter -> Issue Navigator Columns editor? This seems so obvious... I was surprised that this wasn't the default behavior.

The "Default Columns" shouldn't be a standard set of columns imposed by the gadget. It should be whatever columns are specified by the filter's Column Order.
