Issue Summary
The new option Lock Feature State and Process Step setting only applies to features assigned to a Program Increment (PI). Features in the Unassigned Backlog are not affected, and their State and Process Step fields remain editable.
Notice that this was released on 11.30: https://help.jiraalign.com/hc/en-us/articles/54684569668628-Release-notes-for-11-30-X
Steps to Reproduce
- Ensure the setting Lock Feature State and Process Step in Jira Align is enabled.
- Create a Feature in Jira or Jira Align and allow it to sync.
- Assign the Feature to a Program Increment (PI).
- Observe that the State and Process Step fields are locked.
- Create or view another Feature without assigning a PI (leave it in the Unassigned Backlog).
- Notice that the State and Process Step fields remain editable.
Expected Results
The field State/Process Step is locked once the Feature sync with Jira.
Actual Results
The field State/Process Step is not locked once the Feature sync with Jira.
Workaround
