Issue Summary

Unable to disable the new Notes field in the Feature> Detail slide-out panel.

As per Configure default and custom fields note:

The following work items allow you to create custom fields, modify field visibility, and set fields as required:

• Features

However, currently, there’s no setting available to hide/disable the Notes field in the Admin section > Details Panels Settings for Feature.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Notice there is Feature slide out > Details panel > Notes field
2. Check Administration > Details Panels Settings page for Work Item ‘Feature’ and there is no setting to disable/hide this Notes field from Feature slide out > Details panel.

Expected Results

There should be supported configuration to disable or hide the Notes field on the Feature detail slide-out—globally, by portfolio, or through Details Panel Settings. When adding new fields, customer should get the ability to opt out by default, at least by portfolio.

Actual Results

Currently it is not possible to disable the Notes field in the Feature> Detail slide-out panel.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
