Summary

In the Dependencies view, filters and column configuration options are only available to users whose system role has the "Program > Manage > Dependencies" toggle enabled. This toggle also enables creating, editing, and saving dependencies, so there is no way to grant a read-only or executive role access to view options (filters and columns) without also granting write permissions.

Enhancement

Decouple the "view options" permission (filters and column configuration) from the "manage dependencies" permission (create, edit, save) in the Dependencies view system role settings.

This would allow administrators to grant executive or read-only roles the ability to use filters and configure columns in the Dependencies view without enabling write access. The expected outcome is a consistent viewing experience across all Jira Align views for users who should only have visibility into dependency data.
