Issue Summary

On New Roadmaps, when sorting Epics by "Program Rank" (ART/Train Rank) at the Program level with a PI selected, expanding/drilling down from an Epic to view its child Capabilities triggers the error: "Failed to load roadmap items - We ran into a problem loading additional items on the roadmap." This only occurs on Portfolios with Capabilities enabled. The sort and drill-down work correctly when "All Time" (no PI) is selected. This seems a bug introduced in release 11.26 with the new "Sort by Program Rank for Epics and Capabilities" feature.

Steps to Reproduce

Step 1: Ensure the Portfolio has "Enable Capabilities" = Yes (Settings > Platform > Portfolio Specific Configuration)

Step 2: Navigate to Program > Roadmaps (New) and select Epic level view

Step 3: From the left-side Program Increment dropdown, select a single PI (or multiple/all PIs)

Step 4: Open View Settings → Sort by → "Program Rank"

Step 5: Click Expand on any Epic to view its child Capabilities

Expected Results

Child Capabilities should load and display below the expanded Epic, sorted according to the active sort context, as they do when "All Time" is selected with the same Program Rank sort.

Actual Results

1. Error message is displayed:
"Failed to load roadmap items — We ran into a problem loading additional items on the roadmap. Try again"

No child Capabilities are loaded. The error is consistent and reproducible for any Epic with child Capabilities when a PI is selected and Program Rank sort is active.

2. Select Capabilities level view > Sort By “Program Rank “> Whole page gives error > We ran into a problem loading the roadmap. Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, contact your administrator.

Workaround

1. Deselect all PIs (use "All Time") from the left-side Program Increment dropdown before expanding Epics - drill-down works correctly with no PI filter

1. Or switch to a different sort option (e.g., "Name") before expanding Epics when a PI is selected
