      Issue Summary

Roadmaps appear to use the global progress bar configuration from Settings > Platform > Portfolio > Progress Bar Status, rather than the progress bar configuration set on the individual Portfolio.

This creates inconsistent behavior across Jira Align. For example, the Feature Grid respects the Portfolio-specific progress bar configuration, but Roadmaps do not appear to do the same.

As a result, when the global setting is configured as Progress by Story Points, but the individual Portfolio is configured as Progress by Count, the Roadmap still shows progress based on Story Points instead of Count.

This appears to be separate from JIRAALIGN-5982, which added support for Progress by Count on Roadmaps. The issue here is that Roadmaps support Progress by Count, but do not honor the Portfolio-specific configuration.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Navigate to Settings > Platform > Portfolio > Progress Bars.
      1. Set the global progress bar configuration to Progress by Story Points.
      1. Navigate to an individual Portfolio configuration.
      1. Set the Portfolio-specific progress bar configuration to Progress by Count.
      1. Navigate to the Feature Grid for that Portfolio and confirm the progress bar displays based on Count.
      1. Navigate to Roadmaps for the same Portfolio.
      1. Review the progress bar behavior on the Roadmap.

      Expected Results

Roadmaps should honor the Portfolio-specific progress bar configuration when one is set, consistent with other areas of Jira Align such as the Feature Grid.

For example, if the global Platform setting is Progress by Story Points, but the individual Portfolio is configured as Progress by Count, the Roadmap for that Portfolio should display progress based on Count.

      Actual Results

Roadmaps appear to ignore the Portfolio-specific progress bar configuration and instead use the global setting from Settings > Platform > Portfolio > Progress Bars.

As a result, Roadmaps may show progress by Story Points even when the individual Portfolio is configured to use Progress by Count.

      Workaround

Update the global setting under Settings > Platform > Portfolio > Progress Bars to the desired progress bar behavior.

Note that this changes the behavior globally and may not be a viable workaround for customers who need different progress bar configurations per Portfolio.
