Ability to Make Work Code Mandatory on Epic (currently optional field in Spend Tab) 

Currently, Work Code cannot be configured as a mandatory field in Epic. It is buried under Epic > Spend > Other Spend tab. The placement is not intuitive from a user experience perspective, especially when users expect required inputs to be part of the Spend workflow

As a result:

-Users can unintentionally skip Work Code entry.
-Data completeness and consistency cannot be enforced.
-Manual governance and validations are required outside the tool.

Expected Business Value:

This enhancement would:

• Improve data sanity, completeness, and confidence in Epic level budget data
• Eliminate manual enforcement and downstream reconciliation
• Drive better user adoption by aligning with natural budgeting workflows
• Strengthen Jira Align's role as a system of record for strategic planning

Suggested Solutions

• Allow Work Code to be configurable as a required (mandatory) field at the Epic level.
• Request to have the Work Code field within the Epic > Details tab instead of under the Spend tab.
