Issue Summary
When a Jira Connector is set to "Inactive" (Red status) in the Jira Align UI, it still triggers "Jira connection failed" email notifications to administrators if the connector service is restarted.
Steps to Reproduce
- In Jira Align, navigate to Administration > Jira Settings > Jira Setup.
- Set Alert when Jira API connection fails to Yes.
- Navigate to Jira Connectors, select a connector (e.g., ID 1), and set it to Inactive. Verify the status indicator is Red.
- Wait for the Connector Service restart or Jira Align maintenance restart
- Check the email inbox of the configured administrator or the Jira Align Email Log.
Expected Results
No email alert should be sent for a connector that is explicitly marked as Inactive in the Jira Align settings.
Actual Results
An email alert "Jira connection failed" is sent because the startup health check bypasses the connector's activation status.
Workaround
To stop the notifications for an unused or inactive connector:
- Navigate to Administration > Jira Settings > Jira Setup.
- Locate the setting Alert when Jira API connection fails.
- Change the value to No.
