Currently, rich text formatting in Jira Align is limited to specific fields such as the Description field. Other commonly used fields — including Status Notes, Discussions, and Custom Fields — only support plain text.

Customers often use these fields to communicate important updates, decisions, and contextual information across teams. Without rich text formatting, it can be difficult to structure content clearly.
