Currently, Jira Align users face challenges in quickly identifying which work items are impacted by dependencies across portfolios, programs, and teams. The existing system requires users to navigate to each dependency individually, making it difficult and time-consuming to gain a comprehensive understanding of how dependencies affect work items and delivery timelines. This limitation hinders effective planning, risk mitigation, and cross-team collaboration.

Enhancement:
Introduce a consolidated, interactive view within the Dependencies component that allows users to:

• Instantly visualize all work items impacted by dependencies at the portfolio, program, and team levels.

• Filter and drill down by program, team, or work item to see both direct and indirect impacts.

• View dependency chains and their ripple effects on delivery, with clear indicators for potential risks or delays.

• Access this visualization from a single screen, reducing the need for multiple clicks and navigation across different pages.

• Enable export or sharing of the dependency map for use in planning meetings and stakeholder discussions.

This enhancement will streamline dependency management, improve visibility, and empower teams to make informed decisions more efficiently.
