In the legacy objective experience (as well as all our other works items, and the majority of applications) pressing tab will save the contents your field and advance to the next editable field.

In the new objective experience, this longer works on the date fields. 

Repro:

Go to the Objective details on an Objective using the new experience.  Type a date into the "Start date" field and press tab

Expected Behavior:

The date would be saved and the data entry point would advance to allow input in the next field on the page "Due date"

Actual Behavior:

The previously entered date is cleared out and the UI focused element is the left arrow on the popup date picker calendar

Pressing the enter key saves the date, but being able to tab through a form is the norm and how it works on our other date entry fields in JA.  This should be changed so that tabbing between fields works.  At a minimum, it should function like the Enter key and save the data rather than clearing it out.
