    • Component/s: Epics - Attribute

      Issue Summary

In the Epic details panel, switching to the Spend tab and then to a different tab before it can load, saving changes overwrites the Budget field to 0.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Open an Epic
      2. Go to the Spend tab and edit the Budget field to a value other than 0
      3. Save and close the Epic
      4. Open the Epic again
      5. QUICKLY perform the following steps before the tabs have time to load:
        1. Switch to the Spend tab and then immediately to any other tab (back to Details)
        2. Edit any field (like description)
        3. And click Save
      6. Check the Audit log and see that the Budget value saved previously got overwritten with $0

      Expected Results

Jira Align should not be overwriting values without the user explicitly editing it.

      Actual Results

Budget field is set to $0, an audit log entry is created that shows it as the user input, however this is misleading.

      Workaround

When switching to different tabs in the Epic details panel, allow the tab data to load before navigating away. Avoid using multiple JA browser tabs at the same time.
