Issue Summary
The new unassigned backlog logic is checking both Story and Defect issue types for valid mappings, but if an issue type is not being used, it generates invalid issue type errors in the logs.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create stories and defects in Jira and map/sync to JA
- Remove the Defect Issue Type mapping in Jira Setup
- Perform a full sync with Jira
- Check error logs in Jira Settings > Manage Projects tab > View Logs
- Defects are returning invalid issue type despite not being mapped.
Expected Results
Only issue types being used should report on valid mappings
Actual Results
Stories and Defects are both being checked for valid mappings despite Defects not being used.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
