Issue Summary
When a feature is linked directly to a Theme without an Epic on Jira Align, the "Why details" on the Jira synced ticket only show JA Feature information and is missing the Theme information.
Steps to Reproduce
- In JA, create a Feature A and associate it with a Theme and an Epic.
- Once Feature A is synced to Jira, the 'why field' populates both the JA Theme and JA Epic details in Jira along with the JA Feature information.
- In JA, create a Feature B and associate it only with a Theme and not an Epic.
- Once Feature B is synced to Jira, the 'why field' populates only the Feature information and is missing the JA Theme information.
Expected Results
We expect the Why Field on the Jira Epic to show both the Feature and the associated Theme information.
Actual Results
Currently, on Jira Epic, only the Feature details are shown on the Why Field and the associated Theme information is missing.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior.

[JIRAALIGN-8103] The "Why details" on the Jira is missing the Theme information.
As a customer I very much disagree with the statement that this would be a Suggestion. This is clearly a bug. 1) The Why button in Jira Align shows the Theme in the case of Feature linked directly to a Theme and the integration is supposed to sync "Why details", which it doesn't clearly do. 2) Your value proposition talks about "Align every team to strategy", which means link to strategy is transparently communicated to the teams. In this case the linkage to a strategic theme is NOT communicated to Jira although it should.
This is currently not supported by the Product and we will move this to Suggestion.
