Issue Summary
You can’t populate an accepted Parent Feature in a story. Because of its state, it doesn't show up as available parents in the list.
But in an accepted Feature, you can add incomplete (Not accepted) stories using quick add. bypassing the rule mentioned above.
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to a Story
- Try to add a Parent Feature in the Accepted state, it'll not appear in the list.
- If you go to the Parent Feature
- Expand the Stories area,
- and fill out an existing the story ID in "Search existing Stories,"
- you will be able to quickly add it as a child even if the Feature is in an accepted state.
Expected Results
The quick add into an accepted Feature should not be able to add stories.
At least not incomplete stories only accepted ones.
Actual Results
By context an accepted Feature is complete and all the work items below are also complete.
But using quick add you can add an incomplete story to an Accepted Feature.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
