Issue Summary
After adding a user as group Admin Ideation > Setup > admins, the user is not able to change/ update its assigned Ideation Group.
By adding the permission toggle Ideation -> Manage Groups this same user it gains has access to update, create and delete all the groups even the ones he doesn't have access to as admin/ contributor.
It's the opposite written in Jira Align official documentation: Ideation - Jira Align
On this condition, the user can't manage only the groups it is assigned as admin but all available ones.
This is reproducible: (yes)
Steps to Reproduce
- As super admin add another user (non-super admin) as the Idea group administrator let us say Test Group
- Remove from this user role permission Ideation - > Manage Group
- Note: even as admin he can't change the test group settings
- now add to this user role permission Ideation - > Manage Group
- Note that now it has Setup button on Ideation and can work as admin of Test Group however he also manages all the other groups created even though it has no assignment to other Groups as admin
Expected Results
If the user is an Idea group admin from Test Group it is supposed to have access to manage only this idea group and not all the other availables
Actual Results
User with Ideation - > Manage Group has access to update all the idea groups regardless it has admin access to the Idea groups
