Issue Summary
If a Portfolio has Portfolio Ask Date and Target Start Date disabled in Details Panels Settings, but has Target Completion Date enabled, a Team Objective with a Kanban team assigned will hide the Target Completion field, which is required for Kanban teams assigned to Team Objectives.
Steps to Reproduce
- Disable Portfolio Ask and Target Start dates for Objectives in a Portfolio
- Ensure Target Completion is enabled, Required or not.
- Create a Team Objective under that Portfolio using a Scrum/Agile Team
- The Target Completion field shows under the Dates. Do not populate.
- Switch the assigned Team to a Kanban Team.
- The Target Completion date field disappears but is now required.
- Attempt to save changes and encounter an error that Target Completion cannot be empty.
Expected Results
Since Target Completion date is required for Kanban Teams, this field should be visible even if it's disabled in Details Panels Settings.
Actual Results
When switching from Agile to Kanban Team, the Target Completion field disappears if it's the only one enabled of the target dates in Details Panels Settings. This can lead to an error as it also becomes a Required field that is not visible or modifiable to the end user.
Workaround
If Portfolio Ask or Target Start dates are also enabled in Details Panels Settings, the Target Completion field will show with its Required tag even if it's disabled in Details Panels Settings.
