With the new navigation, portfolio-specific settings for the items (e.g 'Feature') under Jira Align Administration Settings -> Details Panels Settings are not taken into account when selecting which columns users can display.
All the fields are available for the user to select, even if they are not currently active.

For example, the toggles for "Target Completion Sprint" and "Target Start Sprint" are still shown when navigating to "Items -> Features"

although they are not active.
